Welcome to the End-of-the-World. The southernmost city in the world (I’m not going to go into the discussions with that 2000 inhabitant village in Chile which claims to be a city ๐ – if anyone is interested: http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/The_southernmost_settlements_in_the_world )
A bit chilly – coming from > 30 degrees Iguazu ๐ (like 5 degrees in Ushuaia). With the current weather it really “feels” like the end of the world ๐
First day: relax (had a nice appartment with an stove with nice/warm fire ๐
Second day Jan and I decided to go the glacier martial – even though the weather wasn’t good – but hey – we had our “Gipfelbier” – so what could happen? Let’s but it that way: we had COLD beer when we reached the glacier ๐
Was fun – but without Jan’s Garmin GPS we would have seriously be lost (based on the internet it was a nice – well marked way – butโฆ well – we had fun with the GPS ๐ )
The Ski lift was really poor – these poor people who need to ski there (no way you get enough speed to make even one curve!)
Jan had to buy a new hut – but somehow he didn’t want to go with the one I chose for him (see pictures)
All in all a very nice !!!
Again Dogs! Like I said before.. if you need help returning one ๐ Iยดve got experience ! And are you taking the beer bottles with you? Or are those already in your collection? Do you have a list of all the bottles with you, that you can taste them in person?
no. no dogs for me ๐ (maybe a hot-dog ….) … no, I can’t bring all the bottles with me – can’t carry that much… but had some nice beers already! (well, a few of them are based on some Germans who emigrated to Southamerica like 100 years ago …)
