walking through Townsville. Nice beach area. As everywhere around here there is no one in the water to due the risk of stings. There are some areas with a net where you can go into the water…
Luckily I’m not a “Beach guy” (except when playing golf – then I apparently just LOVE to play in the sand….)
Then I went to “Reef HQ” – a big aquarium where they not only have fish but also grow coral. The coral part was quite nice – but I wasn’t too sure about the big fish (Sharks, big turtles, etc) … on the one hand I enjoyed watching them so closely and thought at least they are not hunted down – but on the other end I just thought that the aquarium is way to small…
I do prefer to see them in wildlife while diving …
