Today a small hike to a hill at 6090m (and yes: the Sherpas call it a hill). Very though but better as expected. 4hours getting up – considering this is about the same as Huayna Potosi which took 5.5 hours. I think I’m fit enough.
For any “regular hiker”: 920m altitude difference at >5000m is something completely different than any hikes in the Alps !!!!
Before the Yaks came (46 Yaks!!!) – in order to carry 40kg (each!) of equipment (1849 kg in total !!!) to ABC (alone 146 bottles of oxygen).
